Teaching & Instruction

  • Stefanie’s research examines minority experiences in majority contexts, with a focus on volunteering, belonging, and well-being among immigrant populations. Her publications contribute to scholarship in nonprofit studies, leisure sciences, and social integration through empirical and conceptual work.

  • Stefanie presents her research at national and international conferences in nonprofit studies, leisure sciences, and social policy. Her presentations emphasize applied implications for community organizations, public institutions, and social impact practitioners.

  • Stefanie collaborates with scholars and community partners on research projects that examine civic participation, volunteering, and inclusion in diverse social contexts.
